Namibia has an arid climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Temperatures range between 18 and 30° during the year on the central plateau (they reach 40 to 50° in the deserts). The sun shines more than three hundred days a year.
 The Namib Desert (west of Namibia)
The Namib Desert has an arid climate with one rainy season and one dry season.
Rainy season (November to April)
Temperatures exceed 40° and rainfall are very low (less than 50 mm).
Dry season (May to October)
Temperatures are mild.
The central plateau
The central plateau has a climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Rainy season (November to April)
Temperatures reach 30° and rainfall is high (400 mm).
Dry season (May to October)
Temperatures are mild (25°) during the daytime but they are sometimes cool at night (5 to 10°).
The Kalahari desert (eastern Namibia)
The Kalahari desert has a climate with a rainy season and a dry season.
Rainy season (November to April)
Temperatures exceed 40°. Rainfall is low (250 mm) and very irregular. Humidity is very low.
Dry season (May to October)
Temperatures range between 20 and 25° during the daytime (they sometimes fall below 0° at night).
